2026 American Eagle: Decor Updates with Mindy

June 16, 2025

At American Coach, luxury is in the details—and for Interior Designer Mindy Cox, it’s a labor of love. We recently caught up with Mindy at our design center, where she gave us an exclusive first look at what’s ahead for the 2026 American Eagle. Spoiler alert: it’s stunning.

With a passion for combining timeless design and modern sophistication, Mindy walked us through the all-new décor packages and finish options you’ll find in the 2026 model year. Let’s dive into what’s new—and what’s next—for this iconic luxury coach.

Three New Décor Offerings for 2026

This year’s American Eagle lineup introduces three fresh interior décor themes, each designed to capture a unique aesthetic and lifestyle:

  • Arbella – A refined, elegant option that feels both serene and sophisticated. Think neutral palettes with layered textures and subtle contrast.

  • Key Largo – Inspired by coastal living, this décor brings breezy, light tones paired with clean lines—perfect for those chasing sunshine and ocean views.
  • Isla Murata – A warm, inviting interior that blends casual luxury with earthy undertones for a perfectly relaxed but upscale feel.

“These three décors are absolutely stunning,” Mindy shared. “Each one has a personality of its own, and we’ve made sure that no matter your taste, there’s something that fits your style perfectly.”

Introducing New Cabinetry Finishes

A signature of American Coach design is the luxury cabinetry—and this year, we’re expanding our offerings with five stunning wood finishes, including exciting new additions.

  • Mindful Gray (Carryover): A customer favorite. This painted cabinetry is light, modern, and continues to elevate the contemporary aesthetic many owners love.
  • Imperial (New!): A rich, dark wood tone that blends beautifully with various interior palettes. “It adds depth and drama without overpowering the space,” Mindy notes.

  • Chelsea: Featuring a sleek, subtle gray wash with a 90s sheen finish—almost high-polish in effect, delivering a high-end, luxe appearance.
  • Hazelnut (New!): A dynamic, golden-amber hue that adds a cozy, welcoming feel across all three décor schemes. Mindy says, “This one’s going to be dynamite.”

  • American Black Walnut: Our premium option for a more traditional interior—rich, timeless, and elegant. Still going strong with those who love a classic feel.

“We’re seeing success on both ends of the spectrum,” Mindy explains. “The painted cabinetry gives you a bright, clean, modern look. Meanwhile, the darker woods and walnut appeal to those who appreciate a richer, more classic ambiance.”

Premium Materials: Still the Best in the Business

The 2026 American Eagle continues to offer Cambria countertops, widely regarded as the highest-quality quartz available. These countertops are not only durable but also breathtaking, featuring bold veining and a polished finish that screams luxury.

“Cambria really elevates the space,” says Mindy. “It pairs beautifully with all of our wood tones and décor palettes, adding that wow factor the moment you walk in.”

Behind the Design: A Passion for Detail

For Mindy Cox, design is more than choosing colors and finishes—it’s about creating an environment where every journey feels like home. Her thoughtful approach ensures each element, from cabinet tones to countertop textures, is crafted for both comfort and class.

“Designing for American Coach means listening to our customers and constantly elevating the experience,” she says. “With 2026, I think we’ve created something truly special.”
